At this point, I wouldn’t blame you for thinking…
I’m not worried about the Coronavirus. This is the umpteenth time in my life that the media has freaked out and tried to panic the public about an epidemic that was supposed to kill millions! Everything was fine then and it will probably be fine now. I actually suspect that they manufacture hysteria around these epidemics so they can sell vaccines or get more funding or whatever…! If people start getting sick around me then I’ll worry about it. if I get sick, I’ll just go to the hospital.
I totally understand this sentiment. I’m not yet totally convinced that Coronavirus is a life and death matter. The outbreak outside of China seems well contained, nobody outside of China has officially died of it, yet. So just be thankful you’re not in China! But on the other hand, it’s transmissivity and incubation period are troubling and if the preliminary finding of the Lancet paper holds true and it really has a 15% mortality rate, it could kill a lot of people.
Ultimately, my protocol here is about antifragility, it’s not exclusively about the Coronavirus, it’s about fortifying you and making you resilient to whatever microscopic nastiness comes your way. Biohackers and preppers have a lot in common because we are both make investments and sacrifices in the present so that we are harder to kill in the future. So that we don’t have to worry and fret about every new disease epidemic or disaster that panics the media and/or the public because we’re prepared.
