The big difference though is that 20 years ago South Africa began implementing extreme leftist social justice policies. As a result the country the economy has become stagnant, job opportunities are dwindling and by many measures blacks are worse off than they were under the apartheid government.

South Africa really a case study of the failure of government administered social justice policies. Government always fails in social justice. Universal basic income is the ultimate government social justice program. Government social justice programs, especially racially targeted ones, are the road to genocide.
