Update: I first penned this back in 2018, it wasn't hard to predict AI threatening the livelihood of creative professionals. I was wrong about AI coming for the jobs of creatives before coming for the jobs of truck and cab drivers. Statism is not going to save us from technological unemployment. The bottom line is that AI will take the jobs of all but the most elite in almost any field, now is the time to take all the smart drugs it takes to get into the top 10% of your industry.
