A fork of a fork of Bitcoin, this “privacy coin” powered by the Wraith Protocol has low fees and fast transaction times, making it a viable commerce crypto. It’s accepted by over 300 businesses, from Russian social media marketing firms to Californian e-commerce boutiques.

Who Accepts Verge

Should you buy Verge?

The case for investing in privacy coins is pretty straightforward; businesses and consumers value anonymity and more businesses are adopting cryptocurrency. Privacy coins are attractive to taxpayers who are increasingly eager to get their hard-earned money out of the legacy financial system where it will be taxed and inflated into oblivion.

Since it was launched by “Justin Vendetta” in 2014 as DogeCoinDark for the dark web, XVG has remained almost worthless, never trading for more than 25 cents. But XVG has been called “the worst cryptocurrency” as its privacy technology is questionable and it’s succumbed to 51% “timewarp” attacks three times, costing Verge holders over a million dollars in value. Apparently, they have partnered with the likes of Pornhub. Fugitive-entrepreneur/crypto hypeman John McAfee suggested that XVG “cannot lose…” I don’t often use the phrase shitcoin, but Verge is a shitcoin.

About

Since its inception in 2009, Bitcoin [1] and the concept of a blockchain, was developed in response to an inherent flaw in the way transactions were processed on the Internet. In his whitepaper [2], Nakamoto explains that Bitcoin has been rapidly adopted into today’s modern marketplaces. A primary issue with Bitcoin’s rapid adoption is the increase of demand on the original blockchain to handle varying degrees of large transactions. With increased demand comes increased transactional waiting periods, and this has resulted in higher transactional fees in attempts to try and speed-up transaction confirmation times.

from the introduction of the Verge Black paper

Voice Life and Verge Currency are excited to announce a strategic alliance to create a new all-in-one payment system. Combining Voice Life’s (FFWCS) smart phone capabilities with VergePAY to design a blockchain based system utilizing Verge Currency (XVG) for daily use activities.
